The first time I shopped at this store I saw that they were hiring so I applied right away! Yesterday I had an interview at Cynthiana Shoe Sensation and was hired and put on the schedule by someone other than the store manager because yesterday morning the store manager got pissed off about corporate sending someone to help since there are only 2 associates at that store and she left. The guy that hired me was under the impression that she wasn't coming back. I did all the paperwork and he said we were just waiting on my time clock number. Today I got a call from Shoe Sensation from someone wanting to interview me and I explained that I was interviewed and hired yesterday and we hung up. A few hours later I got another call from Shoe Sensation and a voicemail (from the same lady!) that was kind of rude, saying that I need to come in today because she's the actual manager at this store and she needs to interview me herself, all with an attitude. I called back and I nicely told her that I wasn't available today or tomorrow but that I'm already scheduled to come in on Monday. She then mumbled under her breath very unhappily "uh ok well I guess I will talk to you on Monday" and hung up. Not even 10 minutes later I get a call from the area director who also rudely told me I need to come in today because I do not have a job and I am not hired and I won't be hired until I speak with the Store Manager. I told her what I had just told the store manager and that I didn't understand. She got really snotty about it and was getting aggravated with ME just bc I was confused because yesterday I was told I had a job that I actually was really excited for! And today I was told that I need to be interviewed again because I haven't been hired and I won't be until the store manager talks to me. This location needs to get their stuff together because if they keep treating people like that, they won't be in business very long because I don't know of anyone who wants to work for people like that when they could work for the same kind of people at Walmart for more money.
